The Salmo Slider is the lure that defined a generation of jerkbait fishing. Its unique, side-to-side swimming action is legendary for its simplicity and consistency. Unlike traditional jerkbaits that require complex rod work, the Slider can be fished effectively with a simple retrieve, making it an essential tool for both beginners and seasoned pros targeting pike. What makes the Slider truly unique is its ability to "walk the dog" underwater with a rhythmic, wide-gliding motion that pike find impossible to ignore. Whether you are fishing over shallow weed beds in the spring or targeting deeper drop-offs in the winter, the Slider’s flat-sided profile creates massive flash and displacement in both floating and sinking models. Now upgraded with super-sharp BKK treble hooks, this predator magnet ensures that every strike results in a solid connection.
